Cookie Policy
Last updated 23 June 2026
addmy.bio uses the smallest possible set of cookies. We set only strictly necessary cookies — the ones needed to sign you in and run the service. There are no advertising, cross-site tracking, or analytics cookies, which is why you never see a cookie consent banner.
Cookies we use
We set only strictly necessary (essential) cookies:
- Session cookie — keeps you signed in to your dashboard after you authenticate. Secure, HttpOnly, and SameSite.
- Protected-profile access cookie — set only when you unlock a password-protected card, so you are not asked for the password on every view. Signed (HMAC) and short-lived.
What we do not use
We deliberately avoid the cookie categories that normally require consent:
- No analytics cookies — profile views and downloads are counted with cookieless Cloudflare Analytics Engine, which stores no IP address.
- No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- No third-party social or embed cookies on our marketing and legal pages.
Why there is no consent banner
Under the EU ePrivacy rules, strictly necessary cookies are exempt from prior consent. Because we set nothing beyond those, there is no banner to click through.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the session cookie will sign you out and prevent you from using the dashboard.
